Dumbest things you've said in the moment?

Ok there's this girl I've been getting with off and on for about a year now. For whatever reason she always has me saying the dumbest things in the moment. Seems this problem only happens with her. Well it happened again last night. But before I can tell that story, first lets start at the beginning.

We started hooking up and she was telling me how good I was and I looked her in the eye and said "I know.... I've had practice." Instant mood killer and I was shut down for the rest of the night.

Well she comes into town last night and I strike again, this time while in the act she ask if I came over to fool around I say "No, actually, I just think of you as a friend." Once again I get shut down and tossed out on the street.

Guys of OS, what kind of hold does this chick got over me that makes me say stupid **** at just the wrong moment?

And secondly, what's the dumbest stuff you've ever said to a girl at the wrong time?

Well in the moment, the last thing I'm thinking about it what I'm saying.

I just gotta get a handle on what I want to say when hooking up. Everything up to that point and afterwards goes fine.

My former gf and I were eating at fuddruckers one afternoon. After we finished our meals, I ordered her a strawberry shake or something like that. It came with a cherry on top. When it was served, we both starred at its amazing size. At that time she asked me, "Do you want my cherry?" I pretty much interpreted that in the worst way possible. We awkwardly finished the shake, went home, watched a movie, and then she forgot about it. Other customers around us couldn't believe the transaction that just occurred. I look back now and laugh my *** off.

*sigh* I told a **** friend that I loved her right after sex.

That was the last time I got any from her again, and that was four years ago. Damn I miss that booty!

for the first one... just be modest... girls have a soft spot for modesty. Just say thanks or act surprised, or smile and say she's cute for thinking that or something along those lines... MODESTY works...

for the 2nd one... act surprised... and just be like "ME!???, noooooo"... that's the best I can come up with. FYI, I've never been kicked out to the curb by a girl during the moment so it seems to work.

My freshman year roommate in college (he was a sophmore) was hung up on some girl...He had another girl in his bed (we had 2 lofts, each on a different wall of the room). They were fooling around, I was trying to sleep after getting home from a party (it was 3ish AM and they had just gotten home).

My roommate and the girl are getting hot and heavy, then he calls her another girl's name (the girl he's hung up on, they both know this girl). She gets mad, goes out into the hallway crying. He goes out, talks her back into bed, and they start over again.

You'd think that'd be the end of it, but no.

He calls her this other girl's name AGAIN. This time the girl is seriously crying, gets her stuff and calls a cab. I had to just stay in bed and not try and laugh. I don't think he ever did get with the girl he was hung up on, I believe she just liked him as "friends"

Christ, I don't know how someone could withstand a couple getting some while you're in the vicinity trying to sleep. I don't care how hammered I am, there's no way I'd be anywhere in hearing distance. I'd sleep in the bathtub.

The week before exams, I was hooking up with one of my friends and I always leave my receiver on during the act, it makes her feel not so slutty I guess? But anyways about 15 minutes or so in for some reason I tuned into the radio for a brief second and the Promise remix by Lil' Wayne was on.

And yes..I broke out with the "and the chair or stool..move..was cool...you make me wanna oooh". She started laughing. We did continue though. So I guess it wasn't as stupid as it seemed at the time.
