I don't know what is more funnier you guys bitching about this or them bitching about this. It seems like both of the groups think their group is the best. I feel like I am High School again. Oh well, I am sure this is all about money, but I am cool with it. This has been a great site. Though I do think it has gotten a little too strick. Any ways I am sure this will be OK.

I guess Im going to be the one to say that I think this website is better, Im not trying to push my chest out to say it but I do however think this website is run better and is just a much cleaner website to visit. My concern is this whole thing turns into a constant pissing match, having the DSM forums where they spend their time bad mouthing and throwing insults at the posters here and the mods here and then we get threads popping up here defending this website while throwing insults back, I just really hope it doesnt turn into a constant pissing match in the end.

Those who keep up with the server moves and other changes that have taken place on OS will be familar with my username. My internet company hosts OS. I am also working closely with Steve on the design and direction of the new OS which has been in development for the past few months.

The deal with DSM is part of the new OS and our plans to take OS to the next level. The new OS site and its features will be revealed over time. We hope to have it all launched by mid-January.

For everyone who is an active forum member of OS, the good news is that NOTHING will be changing for you. The OS forums, the OS mods and everything you see here today will remain the same. Yes, there will be a slight upgrade in the way things look once the new OS design launches (purely aesthetic changes) but the bottom line is that nothing will be changing.

For the DSM guys... the same applies with the only exception being their front page which will change to be the new OS front page. The DSM forums will remain as is.

If you're not interested in being part of the DSM forums, you don't have to be. If you're from DSM and don't want to post here, then you don't have to either.

Hope this explains things. I know Steve will have plenty to say as well over time.
