FYI, 90% of the posters there are former, banned OS'ers..LOL

MM is a community of friends........OS sucks....its a forum to post about sports games......what seperates this site from others is the community bond that we developed over the years with friends.....say goodbye to that type of atmoshpere, cause its nothing like that at OS.....

cant say i didnt know this was coming....which is why i have already located other sites with friends i made over time on XBL.....

I was actually thinking the same thing. The "Steve" over there, and the mods I've seen post, seem like pretty cool guys. It also just seems like a select few members that are having serious issues with the change.

From what I read they just don't like the default color scheme and don't know how to change it to Koniro or something cool.

After reading through the topic that EG posted, I can't say I like this idea at all. The majority of people that have posted in that topic that have said something about OS, have said nothing but bad things about the website, members, and mods.


Guess we don't have a choice in the matter, but I'm not liking the idea so far. The only thing I seem to like for now, is the fact that the two forums will still be different.


Cases in point.

This seems like it will go one of two ways, it either completely blows up and we end up having to basically have two seperate forums just to keep the two sides apart or they are forced to adopt some of the rules at OS, ie. no pics in sigs, and then we get to listen to them complain about how OS is full of Nazi's, like they have already done, Im just unsure how this can work out well for either side.

EDIT- Dont forget, apparently over there you can use any type of language you want with no censor put in, yet over here you cant do that and can get reprimanded for doing so, there seems like there is such a big difference in the way the forums are ran it will be interesting to see who adopts whose setup in the end.

The use of ellipses in that post made that post seem really dramatic, a tear jerker in many ways. The double negatives and spelling mistakes took it to a whole new level. Post of the year

Here is another question for anyone that can answer. Here at OS you have to donate to have a custom avatar yet over there it doesnt seem that its setup the same way, so how will this work once everything merges? I might be bringing up problems before they come to fruition but it seems like a logical enough question.
