Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
I agree sports games have been frustrating but I don't think leaving OS would happen even if I quit playing games.Comment

"You know, once I was thinking of quitting when I was diagnosed with brain, lung and testicular cancer all at the same time. But with the love and support of my friends and family, I got back on the bike and won the Tour de France five times in a row. But I'm sure you have a good reason to quit."Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
I have made a decision to quit playing videogames. I have no interest in non-sports games and the sports games have me ready to smash the 360 with a sledgehammer. The games have become more frustrating then fun for me the past couple of years. Over the past 2 days I have played 25 games between NBA 2k8 and CH2k8 and lost all of them. I played 10 games of NHL 08 and lost all of them as well. I just don't have the patience any longer. I am getting rid of my 360 and all my games as well.
Since I will no longer be playing sports videogames I will be leaving OS as well. I has been fun but all things have to end sooner or later. I wish you all the best.
Are we supposed to feel sympathy or something here? I don't understand. Even if you don't want to play videogames anymore, why can't you still post here at OS? Its more than a videogame forum.
Oh well... good luck, I guess, in whatever hobby you decide to take up next.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
I haven't played a video game in months and that was about an eight week period after NCAA released. Before that, I hadn't played in months and was ready to give them all up before NCAA got my attention again. Through all that, I still check OS at least twice a week.Back in the NCAA saddle after 17 years.Comment
