sure enough I get to the gym last night and start seeing sunspots after about 30 mins....went straight home...popped some tylenol extra strength and called it a night...woke up this morning and it was still there.

Re: Migraine headaches
I used to get them frequently in my teen-age years, but the last one I got was during a softball game last summer. The sun spots made it tough to see the ball so I just didn't play defense. Recovered in time to have a couple of beers at the bar after the game...Comment

Re: Migraine headaches
Make sure you're plenty hydrated when you go to the gym. You may want to see your doc about getting some prescription meds. The ones I take (I think it's called Forva) make the blurry vision go away. The headache lingers, but it's much more bearable with the meds.Comment

Re: Migraine headaches
I get them frequently.
Stress is a huge factor in getting them.
Next is food and allergies.
After that it's Genetics.
I wish more people got them so they could understand that it's worse than any "headache" could ever be. It even makes BrainFreeze feel easy.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Re: Migraine headaches
Relpax works good as well. With Relpax, you can also take a 2nd pill if the first one doesn't get rid of it. I don't think that is the case with Imatrex - at least it wasn't when I had tried it, so it could have changed.Comment

Re: Migraine headaches
I got one a couple of months ago. Oh my god, my head was going to explode. Like a little drill. I tried to sleep but even just laying there I couldn't make it go away. Luckily the next day I felt better, but I never wish that on anyone!
I haven't gotten it again (thank my lucky stars)...my mom gets them more regularly and has pills she can take that help, I don't know what type of pills tho.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Migraine headaches
I was in a nasty car wreck 5 years ago when I t-boned a Tahoe running a red light. The other guy just assumed he had a green light since the Garbage Truck in front of him turned right at the light after sitting there forever and he decided to go straight through the intersection. Anyways, I started to get migraines immediately after the wreck and they've slowly tapered down in frequency. As many people have said, the key is finding out what the triggers are and avoiding them. My triggers are dehydration, hunger, and certain smells.
I have to make sure I snack throughout the day to keep it from coming on. Nothing sets off my migraines faster than the smell of fried cooking. When it comes on I basically take meds and go to bed calling it a night.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
