That said, I have (many times) sent out friends requests to people that I thought were school mates but turned out to be complete strangers. This is all due to their profile being private.

This will help me out a lot. Thanks.

P.S. When the guys at Facebook find out about this loophole, they will find a way to cover it up. I guarantee it. Abuse it while you can.
It will probably be fixed within the week. Myspace had a huge flaw that let you do something like this and it was fixed in 2 days. But now there is a 17 gig torrent file with 500k private pictures on it lol.

there are still plenty of ways to view private myspace pics. all you need is the user ID.

This is useless for me on facebook since anyone I would want to bother looking at I can since we are in the same network lol.

some of you need to find a new hobby.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I didn't realize that Facebook was that poorly coded. Yikes. Even really really really dumb web developers know better than to do all that within the query string. That's a really big security hole, Facebook should be ashamed.

You can't see profiles on your network if they set it to private though. There's a bunch of GT profiles I can't see.

                I agree, it's a pretty terrible error.

That is how the more well known myspace errors were.

                  You type in

and it worked, could do the same with comments

I wish there was a way to view people who recently took you off your friends list or closed their accounts. I went down 1 friend and I have no idea who it could of been. It's happened before but it said there profile had been deleted.

Is anyone else able to get past picture 18. I can't seem to go past that picture before it starts messing up.

depending on how old the profile is, you might get the "oops" error. What you do is click "view profile", then the back button on your browser, then click next but open it in a new tab.

I was going to say that I wouldn't give you my real name but you have access to it if you really wanted it. Damn.
