I agree. For what the kid did/said, it was no reason to shove him to the ground like he did.

      Do you have kids?

The cop was being a tough *** towards some lil kids. I bet he feels good about that. Gotta love the Skateboard Patrol Cops, good thing he wasn't assigned to the hood.

And no, this guy would not make a good DI. DI's get challenged from time to time and have to back that tough **** up.

Acting like punks? Come on with that... there was no reason for the officer to be like that whatsoever.

That officer is a douche. At the same time, the kid needs to mix up the vocabulary. I say "dude" a lot, but never to elders/authority figures.

That video is hilarious though, "I AM AN OFFICER!" I was expecting a Mike Gundy tirade, I CAN TAKE IT, I'M A POLICE OFFICER! I'M 40!

              Re: Damn Police

Damn it...I was hoping this would fly under the radar as well! Whoever made fun of his shorts...I have a sweet pair of those as well and I'm no rent-a-cop...come to Vegas and I'll show you.

What's sad is this is nothing that my dad didn't do to me. My god...if I filmed every time I disrespected my mom and what my dad promptly did to me after that he would have been on every news channel as well. Great thing is that it made me a better person. If only half the kids out there had dad's half as good as mine the world wouldn't be so screwed up. I believe the #1 problem in America is the lack of family structure.

Should a cop be doing it to a kid. No...once again I gotta say he lost his temper. Another black eye for the boys in blue! That's ok though. I know everyday when I go to work, put on my uniform, strap on my vest, and tighten up my gun belt that I am on the right side of the law...and that I follow and abide by it.

People I arrest get out of jail way to quick, people I pull over might treat me disrespectful, people in restaurants might joke behind my back. But I know that I've helped many more than I can count and when somebody needs me I'll do my best and give my all, even my life, to protect them.

As I've said before I'm a one post and done with these types of messages. I love OS because I can talk about sports and video games, my two vices in life. I'm not here to debate my career of choice. Stay safe all...

Unfortunately Matt nobody's going to videotape a cop doing a good deed and post it on youtube.

I'd like to know exactly what the kid said that was so disrespectful. Because to me it looked like he didn't do **** to deserve that fat *** pig acting like that.

I really hate to tell the cop but calling someone a "dude" is not a crime and doesn't really warrant physical force. The kid wasn't running or doing anything, in my opinion, that would make a cop manhandle someone who is smaller than him.

This cop has been suspended...He had no right to act the way he did. I'll admit the kid was being a bit of a punk, but he did nothing to warrant that kind of treatment. The fact that the cop said he better learn his name if he doesnt want to be killed, I'm paraphrasing of course, is completely unaccpetable.

Yeah that kind of sounded like a threat. The kid is 14 and really isn't a huge problem in society if he's only skateboarding where he isn't supposed to be.

Cop had no right to put his hands on the kid. I hate kids that disrespect adults, but I also hate adults that try to act like a bad *** to a kid. If I was that kids parents I would be pretty pissed.
