You're defending stores that sell CD's for 14-17.99 a piece?Comment

OH NO!! Record stores certainly haven't helped their fate and it's more convenient to buy songs at home rather than traveling to some store anyway.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I don't care about the CD business. That's just a standard example of technology making the old way obsolete. Apple/iTunes has done a whole bunch for the music industry as whole.Comment

Re: How much music do you have on your computer?
I had around 50GB, but I recently trimmed it down to around 38gb. The thing is...I'm always looking for new music to listen to and when I find an artist I like...I want to have everything they have done. So it can pile up pretty quickly. But I did delete a bunch of stuff that I just really wasn't feeling.Comment

But I still like listening to my songs in my car. Granted, I have an FM Transmitter for my iPod, but I still like CD's.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

For less than the cost of a CD you can burn a downloaded album to a blank CD (and never have to leave the house).Comment

Re: How much music do you have on your computer?
There's still something about actually owning the CD that I really like, I don't know what it is. It's like if I have the opportunity to burn a free movie On Demand to a DVD or buy it... I'd rather buy it. Again, something about the authenticity really brings it all home for me.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
