Re: OS Shoes Thread
I don't get the hype over a single pair of basketball shoes ever, seems like a pretty big waste of $$ if you're not going to wear them everyday but hey to each their ownSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: OS Shoes Thread
Just SMH @ the resellers value on these. The sz 15 auctions I've watched are ending near $500. I'm definitely selling my pair, that's insane. I can get a pair of 2000 Concords in good condition and the Huarache Free Basketballs paid for just on the profits from selling these. Ridiculous. I'll take those two sneakers for free over keeping these Concords for $180."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: OS Shoes Thread
These get a real bad rap too because of the "hood" connotation and the fact that most people who are crazy over these are presumed to not be able to afford food, proper housing, etc. Horrible stereotypes but certainly true in some cases. Just read any of the comments on the YT videos of news footage from this release.
I for one always wear my sneakers, usually the day I get them in. The people who keep them "deadstock" are comedy to me, but it's their money and their property so they can do whatever makes them happy."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: OS Shoes Thread
I wear all my shoes! I've always loved shoes! So, I'm at a point in my life that I buy things I wanted when I was in school. The previous times the Concords came out, I could not afford them. My wife and I are D.I.N.K's, so I can afford having a little luxury in my life, and the Concords are luxury for my feet.
This thread has taken an interesting turn. Too bad, I love when people just post the shoes they have bought.

Re: OS Shoes Thread
It's not so much the shoe itself as when people have all these, it's just my mindset that I buy a decent pair of running shoes that hopefully last a year or 2 which why I was disappointed in the Jordan cp.iii's I got awhile back
Getting some new shoes hopefully tomorrow my current nikes are beat up lolSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: OS Shoes Thread
Well you can say that about most things that people chose to spend their disposable incomes on. Especially collectors - comic books, baseball cards, etc. People who spend $5k on a home theater setup, like $2k wouldn't get you a badass setup?
