What ever happened to Shoes having simple names like the 13s or the 12s? The **** is up with name the SAME shoe a different name everytime it comes out? Lol

I agree completely. I have only started using the names because of my students.

Hope you guys who were looking to cop a pair of Bred 11's today got them, and if you haven't yet good luck! I'm waiting for a confirmation e-mail from Nike Store at the moment.

I really hate Nike for creating this circus with the limited pairs of shoes. I'm pretty much dealing with the fact that I'm not gonna cop a pair but I don't like how it went down. I've had the screen open since about five while they countdown til the shoe is available. About five to ten minutes before the countdown was done I saw in another window I had open that Footlocker, Finish Line, Eastbay were not loading cause of all the traffic, but I still had my original screen ready to go. As soon as the add to cart option popped up, I clicked it, like literally as soon as it appeared. It processed, then hit me with an error message, then another and then tells me all the shoes in my selected size are reserved in customer carts. I'm still trying and it's a mixed bag of error and reserved right now. I'll keep trying for a little while longer, but it's bull**** that I was there and basically am going to miss out anyway like this.

I personally don't mess with the other sites, I've had some decent luck with Nike Store. Just refresh the page at around 8:00AM *sharp* and it should be the first shoe that shows up in the Jordans category (refine your search to "Newest"). It still requires a ton of luck to be able to cop your pair... Me and my 2 brothers were trying today and one of my brothers was able to get an order through.

I wouldn't really consider these shoes limited because they are a general release and I believe there's about 200-250,000 pairs released. It's just that the hype on the 11's makes it much harder to buy them for a decent price -- but it's not like they're not there to buy.

If you wanna see a limited release, look towards the Royal Blue 1's I believe those will be limited. I know the Banned 1's released over a year ago was limited to about 50,000 (or something like that) and only released in select Nike outlets.

Got these yesterday at Sketchers. Really comfortable, and I've been liking the slip on style shoe (rather than laces) lately. Look good for work, but also comfy.

They also have Sketchers Walk and Run shoes that have lighter uppers (which I prefer for summer) and felt like walking on air/sponges a bit (in a good way). I may get some of these in the spring when I can wear shorts again.

I'm impressed in Sketchers, quality shoes and good for a casual business environment.

I have those in brown. They're my brown shoe for work. They look good with khakis and a shirt/tie, and they are very comfortable.

My wife is picking my pair up after work. My "shoe connect" has them for her. I get to see them Christmas Day.

The 11's have been one of my gifts the last few years. I bought myself 2 pairs of Space Jams (1 pair for my wedding, 1 to wear), she got me the Cool Grays 2 years ago, last year she got me the Concords (plus I bought myself a pair) and this year the Breds (I have a pair from 12-13 years ago that still look good). 11's are my absolute favourite Jordan's of all time.

Damn, that sucks. I've had nothing but bad luck trying to buy "limited release" shoes on those sites. Same thing happens to me when I try to get it into my cart. I hope you come across a pair in your size.

You can't even get on footlocker.com or finishline.com. Wow! I guess I'll never get another pair of 11's because I'm not standing in a line for some shoes. I guess I'll migrate over to LeBrons and Kobes.

Yeah if you're not on those sites as soon as it releases it's not going to happen. Heck sometimes I click on it right at 7 am and still don't get them. It's so pointless on how they go about this. People want to spend $200 on a pair of sneakers and can't buy them.

I bought my pair in VNDS condition from some kid for $80. Came with OG everything except no retro card and he stuffed it with toilet paper... But they're in great condition right now. I've been using them as my go-to J's. I did, however, have to drive 45 minutes to a ghetto area in Connecticut to get them. I knew it was a terrible idea going into it but I was like **** it, this kid is legit and I need the shoes! I don't know if I'll ever do that again though.
