Not to cause a debate or stir, but is it just me or did some of those pictures just look TOO detailed? I'm not saying they are fake, but Jesus. If not then wow... but... something just seemed off to me about them.

they take pictures like that on purpose, they are beautiful. When the space program costs tons of money, roughly in weight, then they could at least take photos like this.

I've always wondered though, if there are so many debris flying through space, why are those astronauts or their machines never hit?

Well, they are probably with some of the best high definition cameras out there.

Also, space has no atmosphere, so there is no dust, smoke particles, ect. blotting out the view. I would think this would make the picture look extra vivid.

That is a HUGE factor in how clear these pictures are.
