The stpudity on this job never ends. A few days ago they sent us an e-mail saying that on Aug 11th we are all going to have fun at a place with beach, motel etc. - and that the entire place will be open exclusively for us. So far seems OK, right? Well, we go there and stay there one night and get back in the afternoon of the day after (it's about a 2.5-3 hours driving). Still seems fine, right? Here's the stupidity: We will go there on 6pm!!!! Did you get it???! They want us to work a full-day and then get on the bus and go to this place! There's no way I'm going there! I'm starting to work on my excuses. I need a booklet with excuses to use at work...
My wife suggested something great: A few days before the trip, I'll tell my supervisor that on Monday (Aug 11th) I need to leave early, at about 4:30-5pm because I have a family thing in the evening. Then my supervisor will probably say: "OK, no problem....mmmm wait a minute! Isn't this the same day we're going to this place??", and I'll have to say something like: "Oh, yeah! I totally forgot about that! Seems like I can't go...".

So I decided to play NCAA 2009 online for the first time tonight. My first game against a human opponent was an online dynasty game with TCU vs. Utah State. I won rather easily, although he stayed in one defense the entire game and I more or less had my way. The second game was a nightmare, some random who ran a total of 4 plays on offense (one of which was ran once). I won 28-7, but defending the same play over and over and over gets tiring quickly.

Whew, moving back to hi-speed internet 3 weeks early (DSL, but it's something). Basically I got fed up with being 15 minutes away from everything and am staying with my grandmother until I leave...I was about to go crazy out here.

LOL they don't care if you smoked pot, they care if you tell the truth. It's an interview trick to see if yoiu mess up if you say you never have. Why you ask? Because most people HAVE at least tried it once.

Speaking of youtube I saw a commercial for a camcorder that has a setup where you can press a button and it directly uploads videos you've made on said camcorder to youtube. I'd definitely look into it if only I caught the name of the product.

Also rented The Bourne Conspiracy, pretty good game tho i'm having trouble getting through the train. I got all the way to the boss fight but then died and since then I can't get back! "sigh"

Ever have one of those days at work where you just feel like getting up and leaving? I'm having one of those days. I've been working on basically the same thing all week and it's getting really boring. Plus people blowing their nose or clearing their throat repeatedly is getting on my nerves.

Just gotta remember about 5 1/2 hours until the weekend.

Terrible "advice". Unless they have a positive drug test or try to interview everyone he's ever known they won't know whether he smoked it or not without asking him.
