What a sad day

A legendary CFL player who held a lot of the significant QB records for the longest time and coach died today. Ron Lancaster was a very versatile guy in the CFL and he was always very supportive and appreciative of the league. The man played long before I was born but he coached as recently as a couple or so years ago. He was a pretty good coach as well, too bad his last stint in the coaching ranks was ruined by trying to help a moribound franchise.

He was a legend on and off the field and will be missed.

I always thought it was illegal myself, but so many places do it that it simply can't be illegal.

I still don't have CS3 on my Mac at work (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). I don't really care about the new features, but all the other designers and graphic artists have CS3, and whenever I need to work on some project that someone else had created, I need either to: 1) ask from some one who has CS3 to convert the file to CS2, or: 2) find a Mac with CS3 that no one uses (and that's not easy). I'm sick and tired of that and I asked for more than 5 times to have CS3 on my Mac, but no one takes me seriously. So I decided to wait one more week and then "take it to the streets" (if you want to call it that way):
I plan to print some huge posters (A2 or bigger if I'll be able to) and write on them "I DON'T have CS3" - and hang it all over my room. And also print an A3 poster that says "There's NO CS3 in this room" - and hang it outside of the door to my room. They're very sensitive to people wasting papers there - so someone might just listen.
In addition, I thought of going to some store and print on a T-shirt something similar, and wear it while I'm at the office.
What could happen? Probably one of these consequences: 1) they'll listen to me and get me CS3 quick. 2) they'll fire me - and that's not that bad because I'm dying to get away from there, but I don't feel like quitting.

So I was watching ESPN First Take and they show the next segment will feature Wade Boggs talking about his favorite Yankee Stadium memories, thing was every clip shown featured him in a Red Sox uniform. Something doesn't add up there.

6 days after my originial appointment, they're finally installing my Direct TV...but of course they couldn't get everything right, instead of bringing an HD receiver along with a HD-DVR and standard receiver...they brought two HD receivers and a standard receiver.
