Good luck man. Enjoy it because it goes by real fast. And don't worry about being nervous beforehand. Once you see your groomsmen coming down the aisle, you'll feel relaxed.

I'm trying the get rid of all the shortenings I got used to while writing here for months. You know, all the: u (you), r (are), any1 (any one) etc... I sometimes have to write some formal emails and I accidently use all those short forms. It takes me maybe 2-3 proof readings to find it and fix it all. So I'm trying to use the "regular" words. It's a hard habbit to break...

Good news/Bad news in my travails as a tape trader.

Bad News:

I made a trade with a guy for 2 Staubach era Cowboys games against the Cards in the late '70s. The first game is in pretty good condition but has some really abrupt cuts. The 2nd game is average at best and again some obvious cuts. Nothing is missed however it's just that the cuts occur a little too soon.

Good News:

I just got a 1978 Coryell Chargers game that's in Very Good condition which i'll probably watch this evening or tomorrow.


I'm still waiting on the 9 game package that's heading to my house though. Man that's gonna take me a good 2-3 weeks to watch Among the games is the entire playoff run of the '77 Broncos minus the SB.

I just saw one of the best commentaries i've seen, heard, read in a very long time. Suffice it to say that it's political in nature so I can't go into details but if any of you get a chance check out the Special Commentary at the end of Olbermann's show when it's repeated tonight (I think they do repeats of that show)

So, Senior Week was an absolute failure...

Probably the most overhyped thing of my life, it was just terrible. My friends are such ****ing idiots when they drink, it's ridiculous. They all get way too loud and want to fight each other, and it got really annoying to be around. My friend got cited and fined for transporting alcohol 2 hours after we got there, and he basically just walked around Ocean City looking for pointless fights. I'm all for fights if they're justified, but not stupid crap like that. I decided that I'd just hang out with my best friend because the people she was staying with pretty much decided to leave her out of what they were doing, so we just stuck together and hung out. My friends hate that we hang out in the first place, so whenever I went back to our house to get changed, they'd get pissed and want to fight me for being with her, which got old...

Like the first night, she went to a party with the girls she was with and was miserable because she didn't want to drink and they were all toasted. She asked me to come down there, so I did. She said she really didn't want to be there, so she got the key and we both walked back to her hotel room and stayed there. The next morning I get texts saying "where's your creepy *** at" and "quit acting like a stalker and hang out with us". That really pissed me off, considering that it was A: her idea and B: it was 2:30 in the morning and I wasn't about to let her walk almost 20 blocks by herself.

The next day, I hear that our apartment got fined $200 for having more people in the house than allowed when security came to check. Great, now security will keep an eye on our house at all times and if I'm there at the wrong time, sober or not, I'm screwed. I barely went back in after that and just chilled at my other friends house and my best friend's hotel room.

After another 2 days of that, I just got to a point where I didn't want to be there anymore, same with my best friend, so we just said screw it and left. What a complete waste of time and money.
