Well, overnight shifts in retail suck a big one. The head manager at my PetSmart said I was only going to work 9 PM - 5 AM (they're redoing some of the shelving around the store). Well he never bothered to tell me that I was essentially being contracted out to the guys that go around switching up PetSmarts and that they were the ones that tell me when I leave. So I was there another hour & a half longer. Then the other guy from our store that was working basically threw a hissy fit because he didn't know that we were actually taking shelves down and replacing them, so he left an hour in, so I was busting my butt to make up for him (and he's getting fired, just judging by the morning manager's reaction). Thankfully there is only one more night of this crap

It was hailing here for a little bit, and the storm ended up knocking off the power to the Computer Science building here on campus. Luckily, all the main machines had UPS backups.

I hate days like today. I feel so run down and tired for no reason. At least i've gotten back to a good sleeping pattern. Maybe it's just my body getting back into it.

Well I was right, we do get MASN...that is until the Orioles game comes on, then it's blacked out. I go through the other channels like NESN, SUNY, STO, and the FSN channels, and you guessed it, every channel blacked out when the baseball games come on.

Sorry to laugh, but that's hilarious to me. Sucks that you can't see their games though.

So I spent a good amount of time today reading the thread "Everything Else Forum Removed". Pretty good read... lots of fighting about the forum being removed. But now it seems this forum, and specifically this thread, have replaced it, except there are obvious limits on what can be discussed. There was a lot of complaining about no "personal" topics/discussions... but I'd say you'd find plenty here.

Did you really expect to get O's game from PA, you have to buy the baseball package for that.

Haha, nah, just Brad. I usually work Saturdays 2-9 and occasionally during the weak 4-9. And I'm not to be confused with the manager with the same name in his manager shirt, lol
