The way I see it is that I will simply engage in predatory pricing and drastically undercut the going rates for attorneys in this area. Whereas most charge $175-250/hour, I will charge around $50-100. I will also try to do some bar advocate (more or less public defender work that pays a lot better) in the Juvenile Court to start then move into the district and superior. I am fortunate not to have any debt from my education thanks to my grandmother marrying into money a long, long time ago.l

I don't need to pay for Westlaw or Lexis as it is provided for free in the law library. If other lawyers in the local bar complain, well it is simply their problem. Ethically speaking, since I lack the experience and "expertise" of more established lawyers I cannot charge the same as they can, so I need to go lawyer. Furthermore, the local lawyers are the ones choosing not to expand their offices or provide new job opportunities, I need to make a living and well I will do at the expense of those who won't give me the chance right now.

I have a good amount of people interested in establishing a firm, some who I know and trust will become highly skilled attorneys with some experience.
Have you considered relocating or something like that?

Also, you need to consider that the economy is totally in the dumps right now anyway so that is definitely going to put a damper on things as far as finding a job is concerned.

          Well i'm glad I don't drink.

Anyways i'm fighting bad sleeping habits. In fact it's screwing around with me mightily as some days i'm up at a good time and all but then other days i'm sleeping all damn day

Hopefully I can get back to a regular pattern soon.

Oh and i'm going to get new glasses soon. I was being silly and suggested I should just get a monocle since only one eye is good enough for glasses. LOL

So we had a showing of our house today, the woman who wants to start a business here absolutely loved it, her husband on the other hand refused to even come inside to look at it. Hopefully she can be a good woman and nag the hell out of him and get her way.

Any reason why the guy wouldn't come in? That's kinda rude.

Because it didn't have a garage (which he knew coming in) and he hated the drive way (which looks much worse than it really is). Our realtor told us his father said it was the most uncomfortable ride he ever had back to his office with clients in over 50 years of being a realtor. Apparently the douche bag guy is the one 'funding' this purchase, even though his wife wants it for her business. Given what she wants our house is actually the only place in the area that meets her criteria, the other place that comes close needs a lot of work and would need a zoning change.

I especially liked the scenes where Roscoe gets beaten up by two of his relatives! Great comedy and I recommend it to anyone who may have missed it when it was out in theaters.

That is a funny movie. I just got around to seeing it a couple of weeks back and I was thinking, "Damn, Martin is back!" Then I watched College Road Trip.

On that same token, I really despise all things Tyler Perry, but I watched Meet the Browns and actually chuckled a couple of times.

Just saw Semi-Pro. It was a cool movie with some funny parts, but I expected something more hilarious. I liked the song, though.

Just got back from the driving range today, did a lot better than anticipated, still not great though. I was consistently getting 140-150 and hit one out to the 200 sign. Not bad for someone who's just starting to golf I guess.
