Oh man. So bored at school... Tip to other OS'ers who commute to college... Do NOT schedule a 5hr break in between your last 2 classes.

Lol I had something similar to that but it was about 3 hours.. I would just sit in my truck and watch DVD's or use Slingbox on my phone to watch TV.

So...to the people who know my situation...is this a bad idea or a good one?




I told one of her friends yesterday(through that Facebook chat bull****)to ask her if she wanted a copy of the picture from the cocktail last week. I told her to let me know when she asks her and what her answer is. So this morning my ex sends me a message and we start talking. I asked her if she wanted to get something eat this evening after her finals and she said yes(honestly I expected her to either not reply or say no that wouldn't be a good idea).


So is it a good idea for me to go eat with her tonight? I figured if nothing else, I'd get some much needed closure in the situation. But then again, if she brings one of her friends with her then I won't get closure and it'll be akward as hell.

To me it sounds like you really have nothing to lose if you go. You are going to always wonder "what if" if you choose not to.

Knowing your situation, Husker, I'd say there's no reason not to go. Like you said, at the very least you can grab some closure and hopefully move on...or you two can make up and bam, hopefully happiness follows.

I'm not sure I get the "getting caught with illicit drugs" and "getting raped" correlation but then again I know someone who was the victim of sexual assault and rape.

It's not the act but the feeling afterwards.

I've felt violated (a little less today) since it happened. My personal property was disrespected, I was disrespected, my future is in peril. And this is all over 2 grams of marijuana.

Maybe rape isn't what to compare it to, but instead being robbed/assaulted. Except you didn't see your asailant, and you will never get vindication.

It's rarely a good idea to have illegal drugs sitting on your floor when you invite the police in.

However, your future is hardly in peril. You'll plead out to misdemeanor possession and pay a fine.

No. That started back in October.

Knowing your situation, Husker, I'd say there's no reason not to go. Like you said, at the very least you can grab some closure and hopefully move on...or you two can make up and bam, hopefully happiness follows.

I think I'd end up making things worse for myself if I didn't go. And I doubt she'll ever admit wanting to get back together. Most of her reasoning for splitting up, in my opinion, was her being scared of how fast things were moving and she wanted to avoid getting in so deep that she could get hurt by me at some point.

If I am found guilty, I will pay a $100 fine and lose my financial aid. I will also have a mark on my record that my employers will be able to see. So,

No money = No school.

No school = No future (not true, but my odds fall immensely).
