There's a difference between a thread going off topic and still being productive and someone promoting an agenda who takes a thread off topic in various threads.

I don't really think the CFB forum is as bad as it was early in the year/last season. It is the offseason, stuff goes like this. WVU fans had to put up with a lot for years on end. It is my personal feeling that right now actually isn't that bad at all. Threads get really off topic here, especially in the offseason or when somebody uses the phrase "best" to describe anything.

I enjoy the trolls. They usually make me laugh. The best are the ones who I can't tell if they are kidding or are insane.

Agreed. A message board isn't a message board without a few trolls.

The great thing about OS is that is has an equal number of anti-trolls (i.e. The C) to counter the trolls.

It makes for entertaining reading.

Basically Psy is just telling you that this is just the tip of the iceberg. And as a fan of the Big 10 and probably the second most hated on team on this board (behind West Virginia). You better have some thick skin if you want to post on the CFB board.

Hence why I gave up on even bothering with the college football forums. I know if I post anything, there's 3-4 of the same people will have a response every single time. Not worth it, if I want to talk college football, I've found other places to do it, not OS.

Well, it has nothing to do with who ya like or whatever. It's the trolling and the nothing to add attitude that I don't like. It isn't a HUGE deal mind you as I've only run into it with a poster or two...but I don't see why people respond (they call it feeding the troll).

Again, not trying to stir trouble...just baffles me what people get out of doing it.

And I thrive on being a fan of the most hated team on OS!!! Another Big East Championship is on the horizon! I can't wait for the Auburn/WVU game. It shall be a wonderful event.
