Let's see...drove around frantically yesterday trying to find gas. Drove about 25 miles total to find a spot. I did pass up a spot earlier because police were there directing traffic and I didn't want to wait for an hour to get gas. Anyways I get to an open gas station and regular is guess how much?

$4.20

I start filling up my Trailblazer and it cuts off at $25. Fortunately there wasn't a line so I just put in another $25.

F'ing crazy. Price gauging is ridiculous! It can't be this high!

I hope things get sorted out in NC because it's scary to drive around frantically searching for gas.

$3.21 on the Kansas side. I'd bet if I searched a little bit I could find it below $3.10 in Missouri.

I just got gas for $3.55 from Sheetz about an hour ago. It was the cheapest around here, so and I had to wait for like 10 minutes to get gas due to the long line.

I filled up this morning at Kroger for $3.65, but that's because I get 20 cents off per gallon because I'm an employee. Yeah!! The actual price is $3.85.

I know this is litres so you guys will have to do some math but I have to relate this because it's typical of the price gouging that we see in North America.

One gas station has gas selling for 1.12 a litre. The gas station literally next to it is selling a litre of gas for 1.36!

WOW. Assuming I did my math correctly, that's a difference of about 90 cents per gallon. That's just crazy.

This proves how short our supply is on oil and how we NEED more or this type of crisis will destroy this country. Imagine if the refineries down there were actually seriously damaged or if Iran clogged up the Straits of Hormuz and didn't allow any tankers to come through. This thing would be long-term and it could bring this country to our knees.

The shortage has to do with the supply to the south east.
