Re: What do you drive?
I traded in my 2001 Nissan Maxima for a 2008 Lexus GS 350 AWD about 1 month ago. The GS 350 is almost fully loaded (only feature missing is the speed control for highway driving....that feature basically applies the brakes if the car senses another car moving slower in front of you). Mine does have sensors around the car that notify me on the NAV when I'm getting close to something in the front/back.
Exterior (not my car, but same color and everything):
Interior (not my car again, but same color/wood trim/NAV etc...):

I may have posted here, not sure. I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, and we got my wife a new car last week, a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander will every single option. I've never seen a car like this. Has a 30 GB HDD, navigation system, hands free blue tooth, climate control, 4WD, 3rd row of seats, leather heated seats, rear seats recline, heated mirrors, and that's not even half of it.
The coolest thing is the key system. I don't ever have to put a key in it or even take it out to open/close doors, it does it automatically from this box thing that is on my key chain. Hard to explain, but damn cool.
This isn't ours, but it looks the same except we have different rims since we have 18" tires and ours is black.
Awesome ride.Last edited by ExtremeGamer; 07-30-2008, 08:35 PM.Comment

Re: What do you drive?
1992 S-10 red Blazer that now has 185,000 miles on it! 200,000 miles, here we come!
My family also has a 1998 Lincoln Navigator with about 120,000 miles and a 1994 red Silverado with around 130,000 miles on it, I believe.
All the cars are paid off and that's the important thing!Comment

Nice ride Mike!

Those Outlander's are nice vehicles. I don't know about you, but I never had NAV before and now I doubt I'll get another car without it. Hands free bluetooth is great as well.
I agree about the smart key system. My Lexus has it as well. The key never leaves my pocket. It's definitely one of the better features that a lot of cars are moving towards. Touch the door handle to open the door, touch the trunk to open the trunk, touch the button on any of the doors to lock all the doors, touch the start button to start the car etc... Very cool feature.Last edited by mjb2124; 07-30-2008, 08:41 PM.Comment

Re: What do you drive?
Thanks Scott. It's an amazing car with a lot of gadgets that I like to play with. I was car shopping for it for nearly 8-10 months. Once the economy went south and car sales slowed down, it was the perfect time to buy (not to mention the Maxima was starting to go downhill).

Re: What do you drive?
mjb....very nice.
I was looking at the Lex..but went with Audi instead. For some reason, I just liked the ride better....but the interior of the Lex was sweet. VERY comfortable.
...here's my A6(well not mine..but it's the same).
The R8 is on my radar....but a lot of things have to fall the right way(like a bag of $100's from the back of a Wells Fargo truck..okay...maybe not I still have a chance).
...and it is paid for !!!

Sweet car I was going to get one and then I decided to keep my Honda and get a new car next year. I wanted to get a Charger too, but with 2 kids I think I will get a 09 Accord or Camry.Comment

Re: What do you drive?
I went manual transmission for my A6....but I'll tell you what...with my wife's A4 we went with the Tiptronic automatic and it drives just as nicely.
AWD was a must for me for my new car and whatever the weather...I feel very comfortable in the vehicle.
The only thing I did was put Pole Positions on both cars.
I have only two little digs on the car...
One....no way to just turn the fan on and let in outside air. You have to set the temperature to what you want it in the cabin....and in the winter....I hate using the heat...no matter what the temp...I just open the outside vent and let the fan run.....can't do it...you have to either set the temp to 60 degrees or to LOW which is A.C.
The second is the seats....they are beautiful.....but designed more for a racing type vehicle. They have all the gadgets...fully automatic/electronic everything...but they are a little stiff....I would like a little more padding.
I spoke to my salesman and set up an appointment to test drive the R8 down the road.......and I'm stoked to try it.

Re: What do you drive?
I drive a 2004 Honda Pilot (loaded), and until recently my wife drove a 2008 Nissan Altima S. The Altima was totaled when she was rear ended. We are currently looking at the Cadillac SRX as a replacement for the Altima. I am trying really hard to talk her into the STS as I like it more, but she really like the SRX.Comment

Re: What do you drive?
This is what I drive, an 04 Audi. I got a pretty good price on it used. My mom drives an 07 Suburban, my dad drives an 08 Silverado, and my sister drives one of those fj cruisers. My dad has to trade in his car once or twice a year though because he drives ridiculous amounts of miles for his job so he always has pretty new cars.
the most important thing is that they are all paid off.
