I don't even have a job in Raleigh yet though....but check with places like FedEx sorting packages, they always need people -
Re: Finding a summer job is tough!
It was always a pain in the arse to find a summer job, when I was in college most kids did their summer job hunting on winter or spring break so they were ready to work as soon as they got home.
Nothings worse than missing out on a $1k or so because it takes you three weeks to find a job."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

This is why as much as I despise Kroger and make jokes about the place in which I work, if I were to quit, then it would take forever and a day to find a new job. I'm stuck there. I don't hate it, it's just not something I'll be doing after another 2 years time.Comment

It's impossible to find a job period. I've been looking for 2 years and nobody will even call me back.Comment

Re: Finding a summer job is tough!
Yea I worked at Shaw's, a grocery store last summer. I didn't like it at all and didn't want to work there this summer, but they liked me and it seemed like they were always hiring so I figured I had it as a backup plan, but it turns out I don't. I gotta get real serious looking now, just try everywhere. It's just tough because a lot of places don't want to hire just for the summer.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

For jobs in the summer, you really have to be near a summer travel destination. I live in Newport, Rhode Island which is a big tourist destination in the summer. A lot of positions open for the summer. And the sad thing is with the limits on Visa's for foreign workers, a lot of the employers are having a hard time finding enough workers.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment
