Re: Hats....
This is like the poor man's version of the "what watch do you wear" thread.
Anyways, I haven't been wearing hats lately, but I normally do. It's kind of weird.WUSTLComment

I need to get a new Bills hat... I think I may get this:
Not really a fan of "Mitchell and Ness" written on the back though.
But currently I wear this when I wear a hat, which is about once a week:
Lansing Lugnuts minor league team hat. Got it for 9 bucks because it was last year's style.Proud member of the OS Bills Backers.

Re: Hats....
Nice hats.
How do you guys break in your hats? I've been having trouble ever since New era went away from the wool cap getting them to break in.
I can curve the bill just fine, but I can't get the face of the hat with the logo to soften up enough to lose it's form.
The old Wool Caps I could just get a little damp and wear around for a bit, would work fine.Comment

Maybe you're getting too big of hats.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Hats....
Yeah, I do the same. Usually, I'll let it sit for a day or two with a rubber band around the bill, just to get it to curve, but the rest of it, I just let itself break in with normal wear and tear.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Re: Hats....
The hat I bought is slightly too big, which is kind of strange because the other hat I have is 7 1/4 inches also and it was slightly too small.Comment

Re: Hats....
Yeah, that's the thing with New ERA... not all equal sizes are equal fits. Sometimes you have to disregard what the number says and just find out which one truly fits your bill (no pun intended). That's why I try and avoid giving and getting hats as gifts.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Hats....
Yep, gotta wear it to get it broken in. Nothing, and I mean nothing beats a hat you've worn for a year or so as far as a fit.Twitter

Re: Hats....
I have a large head....
I'be been able to break most of them in. The ones I bought recently stayed rubber banded until I wore them, then rubber banded again. Seemed to work.
Like I said I miss the wool for fitting though. I don't miss it's heat and sweat factor.Comment
