I am into buying both other teams and Dodger hats. I have Rays, A's, White Sox, Cubs, Tigers and Cardinals hats. And I have the ST Dodgers Hat, and a White Dodger Hat. I am a hats kind of guy.

Gotcha. I was just curious, because those color hats stand out to me, but that's cool.

How do you guys feel about wearing a hat from something you have no affiliation with?

For instance, I have never bought an Atlanta or NY fitted, as those cities have nothing to do with me. I haven't even visited those cities, or like any of their teams. So I feel "fake" if I were wearing them. Almost ALL of my fitted hats are LA.

The one that I don't have that's not LA, is a Spurs hat that I bought just to match an outfit I had. And I don't care for the Spurs.

The thing is, since I'm in Florida now, they don't have a big selection of LA fitted's. But they have some nice hats that are representing some other cities. But again, I just wouldn't feel right wearing them.

So how do you fellas feel about that? Am I alone with that problem?

I feel the same way. I don't feel right wearing another team's hat or apparel. Since I live in Texas and my favorites teams are in California, it's not much of an selection when I'm buying sportswear. I just wouldn't feel right wearing a Yankees hat, when I'm a Dodger fan. If someone came up to me while I was wearing a NY hat and asked if I liked them, I would tell them, this isn't my team and they would probably give me look.

I pretty much have to buy things online if I don't find it here in town.

I pretty much buy hats based solely on their looks, not what team it is. The only caveat I have would be if it was a rival team (ex. Yankees, Canadiens, Lakers... etc).

I just picked up this beauty down here in Charlotte, I never thought of the day Rutgers gear would be available outside of New Brunswick, but damn we came a long way.
