Thanks man. I usually post in flurries - usually right around the release dates of major sports games. I've always been like that.

Congrats, I am in project management and it can be rough but also a good experience.

Congratulations on achieving your dream man. It's awesome when you can do what you want, get paid for it, and enrich others lives at the same time.

Quick question for you – how did you like the Sports Editor with Disney? I am currently in the media industry with a background in sports, and I am hitting a point where I don't know if the college or pro route sector is better. How was your experience?
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Thanks Dude!

The Disney job was a lotta fun. Basically when I came on Disney owned the Ducks and Angels, so my (2-man) department did all of the website and game publication stuff for both teams. The hockey players were really cool dudes, while it seemed the ball players were kinda stuck up but there are several reasons for that (including that the Angels had just won the World Series a month before I got there). The Ducks lost to the Devils in the Finals game 7 which was heartbreaking for me b/c I really wanted a ring. The Angels had given ev'body rings when they won - from the interns and groundskeepers to even part time staff. There was even a girl who began her internship with the Angels marketing dept. in October (just weeks before the World Series) and they gave her a ring too!

But it was cool man - it only paid in the mid 20's but it was alotta fun. Eventually though, fun doesn't pay the bills. There are only a few jobs out there and most people hold onto them for dear life. I know I am making almost double what my old boss makes now but he loves being a part of the team. He'll never leave.
