    Re: Dealing With Death

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I've spent the last few days crying and trying to find something positive to hold onto. A little help has come from reading and posting here on OS.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Nobody can ever take away the memories. The pain will never go away, neither will the joy you had with them. The tears will come and let them.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I'll be sending prayers up for you and your family and her family.

Time heals all wounds. Thats the only advice that I can offer. I can't even imagine how it must feel. But please remember, it wasn't your fault. And their memories is something positive to hold on to. I know it hurts to think about them and to remember, but those same memories that are right now bringing tears to your eyes and pain into your heart, will eventually put a smile on your face and bring a warmth to your heart.

If there's anything that I or anyone here can do, let us know.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Wow man. I'm sorry for your loss. One thing is let your emotions out. If you feel like you are going to cry, as others have said, let it out.
