    Wednesday Morning Other Stuff (7-16-08)

    Like the links? Kick off some conversations about them!
    Saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith last night on DVD. It was a decent movie I guess. Been wanting to see it for a while, just never got around to it.

    The bike is in the shop getting the 600 mile tune up, can't wait to ride it in on Friday. Should be ready for pickup tomorrow afternoon.

    With my knees feeling like they've both been shot, I'm going to start swimming at the gym to hopefully relieve some of the stress. I'll try it for a while and see how it goes. Gives Nat an opportunity to really learn how to swim as well.

      I hear you on the knees. As I near 30, the extra 10-15 pounds I've been carrying for the past year or two is starting to take its toll. I tried running to drop the weight, but my knees just can't take it. I had to go to an orthopedist for my right knee about 6 months ago; it turned out it was scar tissue/cartilage build-up from an old meniscus injury. To get to the point, he recommended swimming as my best option. Too bad the wife & I might be moving soon, so I don't want to get locked into a gym membership...

          QOTD: 1. Funny Games, 2. The Air I Breathe, 3. Cloverfield. Pretty lousy movie year so far. None of these 3 would have been in my 2007 Top 10.

                          Whats up? Busy as hell at work. Im normally one of the first ones to respond to this, today im 5th. boo!

                          QOTD: Indiana Jones, Wall-E and that might be it. I used to to go movies all the time, but when they knocked out student prices here (been outta school 4 years but have ID still) i stopped going as much, cant afford 30 bucks for movies everyweekend (12 per ticket for two people).

                                      wasn't a fan of either Wanted or Hitman. When the audience laughs out loud during a climactic scene in the flick its never good. that "curving" bullets stuff just got too crazy.

                                      I'd have to say Hulk, Ironman and Zohan.

                                      This is course is all moot, because the best movie of the year is coming out on Friday - The Dark Knight ...

                                          Yeah, I just found out about this feature last week and I thought it was pretty creepy. Kind of reminded me of the movie "Deja Vu", if anyone has seen that.
