Why didn't anyone help the guy? The guy is getting stabbed, and everyone jumps off the bus? It's like 40 on 1 and no one helps the guy getting stabbed? I'm glad I don't live in Canada, it's everybody for themselves up there.

Just think, if just one of them had a gun, the guy might have lived.

I dunno, I would kinda run away if there was some nutjob wailing on some unsuspecting soul with a butcher knife too.

One thing that amazes me is how the poor fellow didn't initially sit by the guy but ended up next to him. I remember several times riding the Greyhound. Was a life changing experience each and everytime. One time I got my ticket taken from me while I nodded off for a few moments on the bus. Another time, my luggage almost got ganked. If only the Greyhound had solid security like airplane flights, it might be a whole different story.

For those of you criticizing people for not doing anything, do you have any idea how difficult it would be to disarm a guy with a commando knife in a bus? It doesn't matter how many people there are, the space is incredibly restrictive and any evasive maneuvering would be next to impossible, it would have just been another body if someone tried to do anything. And yeah too bad someone on the bus didn't have a gun, amidst the swarm of panicked people trying to get off the bus I'm sure it would be really easy to pacify the situation that way.

I rode Greyhound one time from Oregon to Indiana and will never do it again. I had jewelry stolen out of my luggage, had to sit next to crack heads who were using the bathroom as their personal drug lab and has some Drew Carey look-a-like try and pick a fight with half the bus, it was an experience thats for sure.

This is more something you'd hear about on CNN and happening in the States, not Canada which is why i'm kinda shocked.
