I feel like the only person in here that's never taken a college course that spanned less than 1 hour and 20 minutes lol

You're not the only one man... my junior year was nothing but those, and all on either Tues/Thurs or Mon/Weds. I'd take those long classes for two days over the short classes for three days anytime.

MWF I got 9am-4pm with a few breaks in between for Business, Physics and some Geology class related to construction

TR - Trig from 2-4

Geology is another 3 hour class..I hate it. Last semester I had a 3 1/2 hour class with nothing but drawing blueprints in a morgue of a class, no one talked

Golf for Business? What is that going to be?

Here's the description from my course guide:

"Golf has become increasingly more popular with people of all ages and genders over the last 20 years. Knowledge of the game can be particular relevant and helpful if one is to pursue a business career. This course will explore the following aspects of the game: history and traditions, social issues, rules as promulgated by the R&A and USGA, architecture, course maintenance, tournament golf structure and organization, club golf structure and organization, golf professionals and great players. Course materials will include books, films, and articles, as well as the golf experiences of class members as players. Each student will be responsible for developing and completing a term paper during the semester."

It sounded interesting enough, and it fits into my major.

Damit... so I officially got my schedule today. Its a bit different than the one I posted.

I have 2 additional classes on Tuesday. Another 50 minute Intro to Engineering course, and Calc 2 at the same time as Thursday. I figured something was weird that Calc 2 was only 1 day a week.

On Calc 2, I could've placed out since I got a 5 on AP Calc AB, but since I haven't learned Calc 2, I might as well take it. I took credit for Calc 1 of course tho lol.

It's required at my school. Pretty sure it's not exactly "Learning Not to Get Date Raped 101" like you say, though.

I'm not quite sure what it is, actually. But I do know that all freshman have to take it.

Anyway, I'm pretty pissed at Nova's bookstore. I can finally find out what books I need, but its really unclear. Taking much longer finding what I need than I wanted...
