I own the Sony "50 Wega SXRD full 1080p set, games look good, when I'm gaming the set look good, I have Rear projection, but every time I go to bestbuy and see there games running on there Glass LCD screens the game look that much better, I mean I don't know if they have the sharpness maxed out, thats what it looks like, but is there anyway to my set to that good too. I mean I paid good money for my set and I don;t feel like I have the best picture, and It's LYCOS which is suppose to be the best, anyone,

One word of caution is the display TV's at Best Buy (and any retail mode) are set to what we call "Torch Mode". Its with brightness and contrast maxed out and, if left like that for long periods of time, will have adverse effects on the screen.
Also, the feed they are using isnt a cable or direct TV feed. Its a direct looped feed, so there is no interference or any distortion in the signal. The best thing to do is A) have your TV professionaly calibrated B) buy the DVD's and do it yourself or C) check out some AV techie forums (if you want the forum name, you can PM me).
Plus, there is an inherent difference in plasma, LCD, DLP, projection etcCheck out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.
You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......
