You do realize that it was largely the general public speaking out against the illegal immigrant amnesty bill a few months back that kept the bill from passing? Congress was going to pass it and Bush had already voiced his support for it, so it was most likely going to pass. It was only the people that voiced their concern that kept it from happening since congressmen want to be reelected.

And you realize that right now, I show up to a House building, file, send a form letter, and then discard letters, emails, and phone calls, right? But I mean, you read it on free republic; that pretty much makes you an expert.
