As for his retirement, he had to have both shoulders operated on and cant lift any real weight (grand kids, etc) so those are all shot. He has screwed up feet so walking for more than 10 minutes at a time is not going to happen. In the past 5 years he's attempted to work in the construction industry still but cant keep up anymore. Oh and keep in mind, he's in his 60's now.
So the judge in all his wisdom, decides he can be a courier of all things which require A) walking and B) lifting along with bending up and down. So he denies my dad in SS.

And the lawyer was such a dumb **** he forgot papers, after the hearing he decided that my dad should have gotten more tests done (would've thought he would recommend anything and everything to cover all the bases before the hearing, but I guess thats a stretch). He kept talking about not letting it go but as of now, that'd be another year minimum of a wait for something we should've had 3 years ago. Atleast he didnt get any pay out of this **** sandwich.
