You guys I need your prayers. My dad was admitted to the hospital Monday evening and released this morning. He is going to need to go back in 7-10 days for surgery. The doctors found a mass (tumor) in his colon that needs to be removed. They will not know until they remove the tumor whether or not it is cancerous. I am just hoping and praying it is not cancerous and if it is that it has been caught in time.

Sorry to hear man, but try and stay as positive as you can. Your father, yourself and your entire family will be in my prayers.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I appreciate the encouragement guys. Thanks for the prayers as well. The hardest part is my dad is my only family. I do not have brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles or grandparents. I have some good friends who I consider my family but not blood relatives.Comment

I'll say a prayer for you and your family tonight. My grandma had major heart surgery, and through prayer and great surgeons, she got through it fine. Hope the same for your dad.

Thanks again for everyone's prayers and words of encouragement. You have no idea what they mean to my dad and me. Like I said, he goes back to the hospital in about a week to have his surgery and we will know more then. I will keep you guys updated when I find out more. Thanks again to my OS family.
