    This is what you get...

...for trying to do the right thing.

My friends and I were at a party Saturday night and this girl wanted to drive after she had clearly had too much to drink.

My friend and I try to get her keys from her but her and the three friends that wanted rides home refused to give them to us and since we didn't want to cause a scene inside the party...my friend and I go outside. We go right to the girls car and hop up on the back of it.

Now comes the problem: the girls come out and say absolutely nothing to us. They just get right in the car and start the engine. My friend and I, assuming that she'll realize we're on the car, tap on the back window a few times and start saying her name...

...and then she pulls out and speeds off, almost immediately.

With both of us....still on the car.

At the moment, I do not remember anything that happened from that moment until about 4am Sunday morning, when I was in the hospital with my friend.

I want to conclude this with: I am incredibly, incredibly, incredibly lucky. I could have been seriously injured, I could still be in the hospital in a coma, I could be blind (I landed on the back of my head) etc. Luckily, for me, I only have a severe concussion, a slightly fractured hand and my *** is kinda skinned.

Just...needed to get it off my chest, and I know you guys weren't really worried about me since I was only gone for two days, but hey...I'm more or less alright. My head, neck, back and *** are in serious amounts of pain right now, but that is to be expected when you are thrown from the back of the car and land on the back of your head, no?

You, my friend are incredibly lucky.

As to the situation I think you guys took the wrong tactic. So you couldn't get the keys right? Well i'd have one of your friends call a cab and you and the others physically keep them getting into the car. Once cab comes up you tell the cabbie where to take em, throw the girls in the cab and pay the cabbie.

I know, a bit rough but you can't have people taking chances driving on the road drunk and from your story, out of their minds. I mean who the hell would drive off with two guys on the hood of the car?

Glad you're ok. Hope your injuries heal quickly. Did you file a police report?

Incredibly lucky is an understatement. I'm blessed.

And yeah, we both realize that we took the wrong route and could've saved both of us a good amount of pain (my friend, while he doesn't have the internal damage I do, has a lot more bumps, scrapes and bruises)...but really, who the **** drives off with people on their car?

But yeah, there are a few mistakes that we made that could've kept us out of this position, but hey...live and learn. Lucky, I'm still alive and functional.

We didn't, mainly because she's a good friend from home. However, I don't plan on talking to her for quite a bit of time because she's a ****in' idiot. Not to mention she kept driving after we were thrown from the car.

Luckily, our other friends took care of us (apparently, I don't remember much) and then called and ambulance for us.

Wow, crazy story. Those girls deserve a definite beatdown. Glad everyone is alright.

I'm surprised the police didn't get involved, especially after the ambulance arrived and the paramedics found out what happened. I'm guessing your friends didn't tell them the whole story. Your "friend" broke some serious laws (drunk driving, hit and run, etc.)

I would have a hard time being friends with someone who could've killed me (and others) because of their drunken stupidity.

Yeah, I know the cops showed up because, apparently, they thought my friend and I got in a huge fight and beat the **** out of each other.

Don't know what they told the cops actually happened, but yeah...the cops were involved, I just don't remember in what capacity. Like I said, I don't remember much and it sucks.

I hope you don't suffer too much with post concussion syndrome. From what I hear it's pretty bad stuff what with killer headaches and even some fatigue. Seriously those girls are pretty dumb.

It'd be somewhat ironic and just if they had crashed on their way home.

At the moment, my head doesn't really even hurt. I've been asleep for pretty much the past 20 hours, so that could help.

Right now, it's my neck that is killing me. I'm assuming I have some killer whiplash from slamming my head on concrete, and the fact that the doctor's never really secured my neck so it's going to be bothering me for a bit, I'd assume.

I usually heal from most things pretty quickly, so I'm hoping this one doesn't **** me up for too long.

I would've just let them go. I mean, I would've discouraged them from driving if they were ****faced, but you can't do much more especially when everyone is drinking and won't listen to reason. They'll have to deal with the consequences, hopefully they don't hurt anyone else.

Yeah, thinking about it now I wish we had just let them go and waited to see if they got in a car crash instead of having both of us getting ****ed up and sent to the hospital. But like I said, at least we tried to do the right thing. Unfortunately, it was us that ended up on the wrong side of things.

So you guys are on the back of the car. It starts to pull away, but you guys didn't immediately jump off right? How fast was the car going before you were thrown off? You guys are extremely lucky you didn't get worse injuries when you slam your head on concrete it could be curtains.
