It's incredibly easy, so don't worry.

Good luck -- just stay relaxed (or try to). It is a bit nervous knowing someone is sitting there marking everything you do..

If you know how to parallel park you'll be fine.

Don't speed in the parking lot at the beginning.

Dead serious, I got in the car for my driver's test and was going about 25 mph in the parking lot and the dude yelled at me and told me to pull over. I thought he was going to fail me right there but instead he told me to never go over 10 mph in a parking lot - after that it was easy as can be.

Just be confident. I was so nervous at first, but then it got easier and easier as I knew I was doing the right thing and not second guessing myself.

Haha, is this where we can post our road test screw ups?

I went about 15 mph over the limit on a freeway off-ramp. Freaked my instructor out. "Whoa, did you even see the sign?!" I did, but I was a bit nervous so I was timid on the brakes. Luckily, she let it slide. Or maybe I got some points deducted, I'm not sure.

Anyways, one of the things that can get you on the side of the instructor (and help calm yourself down) is to explain what you're doing and why you're doing it. For example, you arrive at a 4 way stop and the very same time someone pulls up to the intersection to your right. You can say something like "I'm going to let that person go first because since he's to my right, he has the right of way..." Yeah, brownie points!

Don't speed like I did (and ehh), and you'll be fine.

I was lucky, I didn't have to parallel park or do a 3 point turn.

Only thing I have to add is set your parking brake when you park. I didn't and it was the only thing I missed on mine.

I failed my first time when I was 16. I was driving down one of the infamous Vegas streets that is big enough for 3 cars but doesn't have lanes so I assumed it was 1 lane.

Long story short I was in a 20+ft Suburban and made a right turn in front of a bicyclist who ended up having to dive off his bike into the grass.

                            Mine:

                            -Pull out of parking lot
                            -Drive forward
                            -Make right turn
                            -Make left turn
                            -Make 3-point turn
                            -Make left turn
                            -Make right turn
                            -Change lanes
                            -Make right turn
-Make right turn into parking lot and park.

                            Easiest thing I've ever done.

The only thing I remember about my driving test is some kid starting to illegally cross the street and I went to stop to let him go, he waved me on so I went, and then the instructor said I was lucky he didn't fail me for it. I almost went into a pseudo-McEnroe rage explaining that the kid waved me on to go.
