    Flabergasted (a feel good story)

So my son's birthday was yesterday. He turned 3. Growing up I had a very little experience in the country. By country I mean like being around animals such as cows, horses, chickens etc. Never used a lawnmower that I couldn't push. Stayed far and clear from anything like Garth Brooks or George Strait. Now I am much more open to music...and being out in the country. I don't know if I could move out and stay but my son makes me enjoy it even more so. Anyway I don't want to make this into a huge long story about me because its about my son. His nana and pa showed up with this for his birthday. Now my family and I are far from rich. I would say I'm at the barrel of middle class. My mother in law's new husband owns a couple of longhorns and has fallen in love with our family and taken my son in as if he were his own grandson. Pa traded some longhorns and hay and got him this.

anyway i have never been so optimistic about country livin lifestlye. I caught myself today feeding some cows and walking some horses. I guess its never too late to learn a new culture.

Wow, I agree it's always nice to learn a new culture once you're receptive to it. It seems your son really enjoys it and i'm happy for him.

Looks like he certainly enjoyed his birthday.
