    Re: Talk about Change...

Dude, best comment was you thinking about going to college.

Think about that. Money to yourself and an opportunity to better yourself with more education.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Yeah, I know. I can save up for a house now. I make more than your average 20 year old kid. Not to be an ***. So I should be able to get money together rather quickly.

And living with your parents in your mid/late 20's absolutely blows.

Damn you are young to have already went through that.

But I am glad you got out of that. Sounded like she didn't bring anything TANGIBLE to the table and you were stuck with the bill for most things. Not the way a relationship should be. Hope you learned from this and won't allow something like that to happen in the future.

Sorry if I was harsh but it is the truth. A lot of females try to get over on dudes out in these streets. Gotta be hip man.

That wouldn't happen. DC's woman would never be allowed to play video games.

Chris I hope things work out for the best. You seem like a good guy who has a pretty level head on his shoulders, especially for a 20 year old.

If only I had half the sense as you when I was 20.

Thanks man. It's been kinda tough the last couple days cause we are slowly moving everything into my Mom's and her friends that are taking over the apartment are bringing there stuff here.

I almost wish we ended with an argument and someone just not wanting to be around the other person completely. Instead we have this odd... "Well this is what we have to do to make things right.", sort of thing going on.

I know things will be fine, its just the transition and the week or two proceeding it that will be tough.

Yeah I understand that, but the situation goes a lot deeper than I really don't want to explain or do I feel I have the right to (not really my business to share).

Lets just say she hasn't had the easiest life to this point.
