Raining and bad floods here. We've gotten about 8 inches the past week, and places an hour from here have gotten over 15 inches. Some of the lakes have risen 20 feet, causing homes to flood, roads to be closed, etc. We could get another 1-3 inches this weekend.

Very rough day in MS, AL, TN, etc today.

I believe there are atleast two dozen Tornado Warnings currently active and will definitely get many more throughout the day. For the Memphis area, flooding has been a huge concern. The Mississippi River is well above flood stage and will be be the highest since the major flood of 1937.

Mile wide tornado in Tuscaloosa AL. Holy hell.

If the saying "April showers bring May flowers" is true, then I'd better see a hell of a lot of flowers come next month. Seems like it's rained pretty much everyday and we've had probably nearly twice the normal amount of rainfall for the month. Temps have been in the upper 70's to around 80 this week though supposed to cool into the mid 50's to around 60 starting tomorrow.

This is a horrifying situation for Birmingham. Hope to God all out Alabama OSers are okay. This is heading straight for downtown Birmingham.

We are getting hammered here in Birmingham. An F5 just went through North Birmingham, literally 2 miles from UAB and Downtown.

Had no power all day and had 80-115 mph winds this morning.

Cullman is wiped out. Hospital is gone.

Tuscaloosa is destroyed.

You guys in Atlanta better get ready because it's headed your way.
