Around three weeks of 100 degree+ heat and not a drop of rain in that three weeks. It may have been a little longer since I was out of town for a while. Forecast finally calls for scattered thunderstorms but it looks like that sun is burning them up really quick.
I'm hating this Texas weather.Comment

Lightning almost blew up a whole neighborhood in Duluth overnight.
Lucky that gas line break didn't do more damage. I was woken up at about 2:30 AM by thunder from a strike that must have been really, really close. Scared the **** out of me.Comment

Blech... yah, that's the thing about moving down here from Iowa. Everyone complains about how hot it is, yet I don't think it's nearly as bad as it was up north when it might only be 90 degrees, but the humidity would be somewhere around 100%, lol. Just nasty.Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
We haven't see rain here in weeks. Thursday's forecast is a high of 99 and low of 75. That's the highest predicted temp I've seen since the summer began. Mid to upper 90's as highs and low in the mid 70's has been typical for pretty much the last month or so. I'm honestly getting tired of it. I was sweating like crazy walking across a bridge into Newport, KY, after the Reds game tonight at around 10:30. I think it was still like 88 degrees out at that time. Give everybody in this country a break! Turn the heat down a tad!MLB: Cincinnati Reds
