Tomorrow is expected to be our 30th straight day with the temperature reaching 100+.

If that's not enough, the forecast for the rest of the week is 104, 110, 108, 106, and 105. I can't even imaging the heat index on Tuesday.

Reached 94 degrees today in Southeastern Washington.

The southern United States..it's hot during the day, hot at night and humid all the time.

God I hate the summer. July and August are the most painful months of the year in CT. I'd rather deal with the hellish snow, cold and darkness of Feb & March. Six more weeks of this crap and then I'm home free into the beautiful Autumn months.

I don't want to do anything when it's this humid outside. I'm a motivated dude but this crap just zaps me. I do laundry every other day because I have to wear four sets of clothes because I sweat through everything in ten minutes. The Sunday morning trip to the grocery store resulted in a soaked T-shirt. Sweet. Taking out the garbage, cleaning the house, etc. Everything just leads to sweat and feeling gross. I honestly have no idea how people live in the South. Bless you guys.

It got up to 105 yesterday, a new record. Today is supposed to be even hotter, at 108-110.

Last night, it poured like I haven't seen in awhile. I was woken up at 2:30 AM by thunder that sounded like the lightning must have hit ground within a quarter mile.

I looked out and the water was almost up to my patio doors. (There is a low spot right near my area.)

This morning, there were localized reports of over 3 inches of rain in the period between midnight and 5 AM.

The rain has moved out of the area now and it's becoming sunny and humid.

The weather app on my phone is telling me it's "64 degrees, feels like 78", not sure how that works. Either way it's a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky.
