Hey guys, I don't know what the policy about posting links to outside forums is, but I figured since I'm not a direct competitor of this site that I would post the link to my weather forum.

Just started it a couple days ago and trying to build a base, of my few members I have a couple pro meteorologists and a pro forecaster on there.

It's snowing right now in the middle of the afternoon in April. Craziness! It's been sleeting for much of the afternoon.

EDIT: Ended up with no accumulation, so a "trace." I don't think my area has seen accumulating snowfall in April in decades (or longer?) and just seeing snow fly is quite rare. I can't think of seeing snow here in April in my lifetime.

Wytheville, VA ended up with 6"+ and Blacksburg got hit hard, too. Some areas in SW VA are reporting 10" of snow!

Its Pennsylvania so its cold as hell with snow and ice for 7 months of the year, then the other 5 months are hot humid and sticky with constant rain.

Apparently we're getting 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Pushes the start of golf season back a bit farther.

For what it's worth, for everyone complaining about their weather, Lubbock won the bracket for worst weather in the US.

For example, this past weekend/beginning of this week, we were in the high 70s/low 80s. Wednesday and Thursday, we were in the 40s. Starting today, we're back in the high 70s/low 80s until around this time next week. Not to mention the random rain, extreme winds, and this.

Having our first thunderstorm of the season tonight. Nothing major, but still enjoyable. For me anyway, my dog doesn't seem to like it very much.
