Its 66 here where we are for Christmas (a bit south of LA.)

It was -11 this morning here.

There's a butter zone in the 20s that's perfect Christmas weather, but I have to say I'd trade our weather for yours.

I used to think the same thing when I was stuck in Appleton... but iy truly feels absolutely nothing like Christmas without snow on the ground.

Hell, we dont even have seasons (save for dry and rainy season) and its terrible. There's something to be said about experiencing the seasons and appreciating them.

I hope there's snow on the ground when we come back to WI at the end of March.

I got stationed out here in San Diego a couple years ago, at first it was awesome weather now...I hate it. Never thought growing up in KY I would wear a tank top and shorts on Christmas Eve.

I surfed for Christmas this morning. That's as good as it gets. After spending 4 years in Colorado, I find cold weather and the changing seasons highly overrated. To each their own. We'll be at the beach later for BBQ.

I got stationed out here in San Diego a couple years ago, at first it was awesome weather now...I hate it. Never thought growing up in KY I would wear a tank top and shorts on Christmas Eve.

Can't agree…got stationed in San Diego for 5.5 years and LOVED every minute of it. Now I'm in Oregon and the Wx blows chunks in comparison. I had to go through San Diego for a day last week and it was 82 and sunny…I'll take that EVERY day of the year.

Pretty cold Christmas. The high topped out in the upper 30s with a low near 20. The dew point was in the single digits, so it's very dry out there.

The week ahead looks slightly below average with a potential clipper that could bring some light snow (maybe) on New Year's Eve and perhaps a shot at a bigger system during the January 2nd-3rd time frame. We'll see.

So it's supposed to be -45 degrees out tomorrow night with the wind chill.
