We are looking at 15 inches of snow and 35mph wind gusts. I honestly don't even care about the snow. It's the damn wind I worry about. Wind that strong will definitely knock out power out. I hate power outages more than almost anything in life.Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
Supposed to snow all Saturday. Could be up to half a foot at most. I've never had to shovel since last winter. That streak ends this weekend. I honestly can't remember going this late into the winter without shoveling. There's always at least one big enough snowfall, even if it melts days later, it still happens.
What's really bad here is that it's gonna feel as cold as - 20! - 20 Celsius for the high, - 20 Fahrenheit for the low!Comment

Where I live gets some of the most snow per year in the country. You got people here driving 10 over the limit in a blizzard with 8 inches on the ground lol.Comment

But now it's frigid time. Currently 2 degrees and windchill -10, and WU predicts tomorrow to be "much cooler" than today. Yuck
I'm curious now. What's worse, extreme cold or extreme snow?Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Both.
Really though, depends what you're doing. Driving, you hate snow more than cold obviously. Waiting or walking outside, you'd hate cold more since sidewalks are usually plowed.Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
Well it has rained non stop since yesterday evening. So as you can imagine, the 2 to 3 feet of snow that a lot of people have got up here melted all at once so now there is mass flooding going on in upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. 1/3 of the lower side of town where I live is closed off now because the water in the streets are 2 to 4 feet deep. Ice jams are happening on a lot of the rivers and creeks. Times like this I am glad I live higher up on the mountain and not in the low laying areas of town. I mean yeah my yard is flooded, but the roads are still passable where I am at. And apparently tomorrow morning it is going to snow again.Comment
