Man it quit snowing for a bit but it's picking back up again. I am hoping it snows good and proper all weekend so we can get the February Ohio record for snowfall. Right now we're #2. Which would be ironic considering that's how Ohio is used to finishing in sports, LOL

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
A historic snowstorm looks to be on tap for North Georgia and the Carolinas Tuesday-Wednesday. Widespread areas of at least 10" look quite possible with many areas potentially exceeding a foot. Some areas could even surpass 20". I'm quite excited!Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
Winter Storm Warnings up for N. GA, Upstate SC, and parts of Alabama now.
If temperatures would cooperate, this would be a huge storm Atlanta, but as of now, temperature issues will probably turn this into a rain-to-snow situation and cut down on totals.
Looks like I may be able to squeak out 2-4" or so here, which is better than it looked just 24 hours ago. Heck, with the NW trend, I may be able to get more.Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
I ended up with 2" of snow here, though places just miles north and south of me ended up with close to 5".
Asheville, NC got 9" or snow and parts of Northeast Georgia got almost 10" of snow.Comment

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
Here's a pretty crazy video from down in Sanford, NC on March 2nd. I believe this area received 6-8" of snow in a few shorts hours, which was kind of a big deal considering all the local meteorologists forecasted a dusting to 1" of snow.

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
Temps are supposed to be near 60 the next couple days with rain. Unfortunately with all the melting snowpack, particularly in the mountains to the south and east, river and stream flooding is a very good possibility. In fact, just about the entire region is already in a flood watch.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Clear blue skies, 78 degrees. I think I'm fixing to get some squid and go do a little fishing.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: So what's the weather like where you live?
It's been nice and warm here in CT this past week. This past weekend was GORGEOUS with temps in the upper 50's, low 60's and bright sunshine. However, I've lived here in New England my whole life and know that in March it can be 60 one day, then you get a foot and a half of snow the next. So I'm not calling it springtime yet.
However, next week I'll be heading out to Phoenix, Arizona for a work meeting where it will be in the low 80's and sunny the whole time. These are the days where I really love my job.Comment
