So what's the weather like where you live?

Very windy here in Lexington, KY. Gusts reaching 50 mph. Slight rain, and we're supposed to get a couple inches of snow tonight. Nothing compared to what Wisconsin and other states are getting.

Those of you who also had snow, how much did you guys get? We had about 5-6 inches here, and highs in the 20s. Wind has been blowing like crazy all day though.

In SE Wisconsin, we were on the warmer side of the low. We are suppose to get 1-3 inches of snow, so, we fared better than the cites to the north and west of us. Madison, LaCrosse, Platteville, Green Bay, heck anything north and west of Milwaukee had some decent snow.

Rain for 18-20 hrs before it turned to snow here.

Makes sense. From what I heard, it almost missed us in North Central Iowa, the south and central parts of Iowa got it fairly bad. We got some decent snow, that system was moving northeast from what I'd heard, but it sounds like you got the fringes of it.

Yeah, woke up this morning at 6:30 to shovel everyone out of the driveway, and I darn near did the splits just walking.

We had about 1/2 inch of snow, but the frozen tundra on the driveway. We couldn't get our son's driver side door open and I couldn't get the van side doors open.

It's like walking on a skating rink.

I slipped and banged my shin this morning.. Then arriving to work, I get out of my car and yelled out "WOAHHHH!" as I almost slipped and fell. Damn parking lot was all ice!

And from what I heard, everywhere in the midwest, EXCEPT Chicago got hit pretty bad by the snow. Chicago had a 10th of an inch of snow...

I think I'll take snow over rain and cold weather now.

Was supposed to be first real snow in 10 months... 2-8 inches they said... well, not even half a inch. What a disappointment and what a fail.

52 and windy. It rained hard yesterday and the daily high dropped by 20 degrees.

I slipped on the ice today too, the parking lot was just all ice. Tried scraping off my car and nearly took a spill, but made a dramatic 1 foot landing that somehow stuck firm and balanced. I wish I had video of it, nobody was even around to witness it

Blizzard watches stretching across the midwest for Christmas night (not eve), potentially dumping a foot of snow on some areas and forcing an early return from visiting my grandparents.

We've officially dropped below zero. Thankfully there's little to no wind to speak of.
