    So much for that idea

Ever had one of those too-good-to-be-true moments in life? It could be luck, money, girls, etc...

Well, I just had one, and man was it ever short lived.

OK, so on Halloween night I get this call on my cell phone from a random number I can't identify. Long story short this girl I had in a class in high school (I was a senior, she was a sophomore) had been at a party with a friend of mine and he gave her my number.

She called me up like we had been best friends, asked me to come up and party with her, wanted to get together in the future, etc...

Keep in mind now, this girl was a total 10. About 105-110 pounds, great body, cute face, etc... Thing is - She was a total b****!

So I ruled out the possibility she was drunk since it was a little early and she didn't sound snowed just yet. I can't figure out why after all of these years she would call me up, act nice, and want to hook up.

Fast forward until today. I should have known boys, I should have known.

My buddy had her tagged in a facebook album and yeah... She's a legitimate rival of the cookie monster and probably his cousin the cake/ice cream/cupcake/fast food monster.

Now, I couldn't help but feel sorry for her right away since she had been decent to me during our most recent conversation, but then I remembered what a you-know-what she was in high school and laughed.

Needless to say, I won't be shacking up with her anytime soon.

Not being a jerk, because I've seen plenty of former high school hotties turn into dollar menu-naires, but this case was just different.

I suppose some of you older, wiser OS'ers have come across this type of thing in your day as well.

HAHA that is pretty funny. I do not know if I have had that yet. Well one time I almost went out with this girl who was amazingly beautiful but she got mad at me for going to the mall with her best friend. Then she said she would never talk to me again. 2 years later she called me and was like I have been so unhappy, boys tell me I have trust issues and blah blah blah and I was like I am sorry but I can not do anything for you. And I ended up dating her best friend....hell yea

      Haha! Atta kid!

Yeah it's funny now, but man, it sucks to get all excited over some hot chick from high school randomly call you up and then she turns out to be a behemoth!

I like your story better. Has a more happy ending.

Haha, forget it Dk. I am not posting pictures of a fat girl in a halloween costume.

I'd rather see pictures of Marino's girls.

Re: So much for that idea

hahaha... I'm in kind of a similar situation.

One night over the summer when I had a few drinks I got to talking to people on AOL Instant Messenger. I talked to this girl I used to know back in high school. She lived a town over from me, and I used to hang out with her friends a lot my sophomore and junior years of high shool... this girl is two years younger than I am, I think.

She was real cute and all the older guys were after her (I think she dated a kid in college when she was in 9th grade). She was never really skinny or never had an exceptionally nice body or anything, but it was definitely adequate. She was a little crazy, a little hard to handle... but like I said, cute and fun.

So, I talked to this girl drunk one night... we had a good talk... talked about my past relationship, about life, philosophy (no, really... we talked about life and philosophy). A few days later she messaged me because she wanted to talk... about nothign in particular... but we had another nice conversation.

So I'm thinking to myself "sweet... this cute girl wants to talk to me... I'll just play along with it... fool around with her a little when I get home."

So I scope her out on facebook...

My god... the girl has gone down hill. Put on a ton of weight, isn't as cute... just down overall.

Such a bummer. I know it's incredibly shallow, but still...

So why was your friend handing out your number to Cookie monsters? That guy was probably rolling.

Which brings me to the time I was hit on at a bar(yes a normal dance club) by a she-male or whatever you call them these days. At first I was bent, but then I thought "what would a good friend do in this situation". So I waved my buddy over, made a nice introduction and slithered away. Thing is, my buddy was 3 sheets to the wind, unfortunately he wasn't too drunk to notice the man hands and the adams apple and put hte ky-bosh on the whole thing. I thought I was going to die of side pain from laughing so hard. He was a little ticked off to say the least.

Similar thing happened to me about 10 years ago or so. A few friends and I went downtown to this place for a few drinks and I was 3 sheets to the wind. A she-male comes over and starts hitting on me. I didn't really know what to do or say to get out of the situation. I managed to hail down one of my buddies and luckily it was Donnie who will say anything to anybody. He looked straight into the she-male's eyes and said, 'Sorry buddy, we don't drop anchor in poo bay" and hauled me away.

Hoepfully you snapped some pictures to remind him of the night he met the she-man. Nothing like some conjured up evidence that can help you make up a good story about it

No but its hands were massive. It was hilarious. The look on my buddy's face when he shook hands with it was classic.

Lmao, well I don't know why, but when I asked her who gave her my number she just said his name and that was that. I had no idea she was trying out to be this generations Hamburglar or anything.

I don't really care that he gave it out to her to be honest.

This was my life story before getting married! I was pretty popular in HS, and I always had a steady girlfriend. When HS ended I went away to college for a semester, and I started getting phone calls from girls that heard I had broken up with my gf. There was this one chick that I always thought was hot, so I give her a call. I schedule a date, and I swear when I showed at her mom and dad's I did not recognize her. Instead of the freshman 15, she had easily gained the freshman 50. I still took her out that night and I had a good time, but I did not call her back or ever see her again (shallow in my youth). A word of warning: Chicks that were hot in HS or college do not always stay that way, and the ugly ducklings may turn out NICE! Always be nice to all chicks, because you never know which ones will turn out to be hotties. They WILL REMEMBER you being nice to them when others weren't though.
