How much do you tip the pizza guy?
I usually tip $4 or $5 depending on how much I order. $6 or $7 when it's bad weather out. I know a lot of places include a delivery fee, but I still tip on top of that.GT: Herkyalert

Re: How much do you tip the pizza guy?
Usually no more than 2 bucks, but I haven't had pizza delivered for years and the last time I did I was in high school.
I usually tip servers and bar tenders good though.I post the frog

Re: How much do you tip the pizza guy?
My system for tipping is pretty simple:
Round up to the nearest dollar. If the order's $13.04, go up to $14. Then add another dollar on top of it. Easy and quick.Comment

Re: How much do you tip the pizza guy?
I've been delivering at Papa John's for almost a year.
Most of you guys are solid tippers according to your posts. I appreciate that.
I found out that yesterday, they are decreasing what we get per delivery. Currently we get $1.35 each run but as of December 1st, we are going to a system that's determined by what gas is at the time. As long as it stays under $2.50/gallon, we'll only get $1.00.
That $0.35 per run is going to add up considering I take probably 80 deliveries a week.
Anyways, as far as tipping drivers....if I'm ordering from Papa John's, I'll tip the driver $8-$10 since I'm getting a discount. I'll still tip atleast $5 from anywhere else.
While delivering, I'm content with $3 or more. $2 is okay, I don't get pissed but I'm not thrilled. Anything under $2 is weak to me (and most drivers).
And yesterday, while delivering...I ordered to 4 teenagers and their order was $15.83 and gave me $16 and they told me to keep the change. Pathetic. People fail to realize drivers don't carry actual coin change. We will NOT give you your exact change unless you've given us coins.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
