anyone else hate ESPN but find themselves watching it all night long? Anyone else find themselves watching back-to-back full episodes of sportscenter late at night? i think I may be addicted.

Sports Center is absolutely awful. I get home last night hoping to see highlights of all the NFL games and what I get is half hour show about the Dallas Cowboys. That's what's terrible about ESPN, they only care about the popular teams. Like with Dallas, they have this huge discussion of the game, then they show a 10 second clip of the Cardinals game and the Steelers game. Sportscenter should be called Redsox/Yankees/Lakers/Cowboys Center.

We're in the era of on-demand information, preset TV shows are going to become obsolete. You can go to NFL.com and get seven-minute highlights on every NFL game Sunday evening.

I love ESPN. It's an easy way to get all my sports news, it's pretty awesome.

I've never seen people with so many problems with something as simple as ESPN.

                    I could live without ESPN.

I had this discussion with a friend, who said he couldn't live without cable.

I can catch almost anything I want online, and if I want to catch a big game I'll just watch it with friends or at the bar.

                      Re: ESPN...

I love how now they stand up for part of the segment. Instead of sitting behind a desk like the usually do, they now stand in front of a screen or sometimes, they'll sit around a table.

I don't know why, but this bothers me. I wonder who's idea it is during the show to say, Ok for this next highlight, you should be standing and then when we discuss who is #1 in the AFC, you should sit at that table with a paper in your hand.

Sportscenter is always on in our lunchroom at noon and everytime they stand up, I make it a point to interrupt the conversation and say " Hold on, this must be important, they are standing up"

It's now more about the highlight and the one liner than it is about the qaulity of the show, but when I turn it on now at least what to expect.

However, I do not mind, Erin Andrew, Sage Steele and for some reason Rachel Nichols

Ahh, you only watch ESPN for the well-informed guys who actually know sports. Whew. I was worried that you'd only watch the sensationalists that take ridiculous stances for the sake of ratings.
