Are we allowed to talk about guns?

I'm looking into getting a hand gun for home protection, and need some opinions. I know virtually nothing about guns, so would apprecitate some opinions.

You could get yourself a good 'ole RPG. That should do the trick except that I don't believe it's legal.

Seriously, though, there's a lot of options out there as far as handguns. All I can say is get a gun while you can because there is talk of hideously raising ammunition and guns taxes as a way of essentially banning guns, since no one could afford them that way. Better get them while you can before and if the new administration enacts this. I know several people who are stockpiling their munitions now due to this possibility.

              Home protection, eh?

Less likely to kill someone by accident.

Also, superjames, there's no indication that the new administration will be doing anything of the sort. Biden is a multiple gun owner... as far as I'm aware, that's a whisper campaign that's primarily spreading on right-wing talk radio. And that makes no sense anyway, since there is already a large black market for guns... making them prohibitively expensive would just enrich the gun black market, which is exactly the opposite of what "liberal" politicians want to do...

hope I don't get another ToS violation for responding to that post, but I've heard that from several people and it has no basis in fact.

The next time you start a thread asking "are we allowed to talk about this" chances are you can't because this is definitely viewed as questionable content.

                    Sorry but this is locked.
