I'd be alive in the 22nd century, meaning I would have lived in two millenniums and three centuries. I think I'll pass. I really don't want to live that long and with all the stuff going on in the world now, I don't know if there will be a world then or if I want to live to see it. I'm pessimistic, I know!

Very good point. That's why I take all these predictions of nanotechnology, personal robots, nanobots in our bloodstream in 20 years, ect. with a huge grain of salt. I still haven't seen those flying cars yet!!! Weren't we supposed to get those back in the 1930s, LOL?!?!

My great-grandfather on my father's side lived to be 104. He died a few weeks short of his 105th birthday in 1997. As a history major at the time, it was crazy to be able to talk to him about practically any major event from the 20th century, which he could amazingly recall on his (as we called them) "good days".

One of his relatives (mine too I guess but pretty far removed), an uncle I think, won a Medal of Honor in the Civil War as a drummer boy who caught the Union flag before it hit the ground after the color-bearer was shot & killed and then carried it for the rest of the battle. According to what he told me years ago, one of his cousins (a vague term I assume) married the great niece of Daniel Boone. Yeah, that Daniel Boone. I wonder if he was messing with me?

Pretty close to me too, weird to think the world's oldest person is just that far away.
