A Shot In The Dark.... Anyone Here From Africa?

    hey everyone.

so this is a shot in the dark i know but for a school project we have to interview a person from another country and my group was assigned Africa.

so this leads me to the purpose of this thread.... is anyone here from Africa? Or at least spent a lot of time in Africa? If so would you be willing to let me ask a few questions? (probably through PM or email)

it will not be anything too personal and if you would think that something is in fact too personal you would not have to answer those particular questions.

i would really appreciate it if someone could help me out (if anyone here is from or has spent much time in Africa)

    here's hoping!

    thanks!

Re: A Shot In The Dark.... Anyone Here From Africa?

I used to know this guy from Africa who was sent over here for schooling. I didn't know him too well, though, as he was a few grades over me.

My dad flies with some white South Africans at US Airways, though that wouldn't help since they no longer live there.

That's going to be a tough task IMO for you to find someone from Africa here in America. They don't exactly grow on trees.

          I agree 1,000%.

So what happens if you can't find anyone from Africa? You fail?? Should you make **** up??

I really don't get some teachers.

I sincerely hope your school teacher doesn't think that Africa is a country.

On a serious note, I wish I could help, but I don't directly know anyone from any country in Africa. A few of UVa's mens basketball players are from Nigeria (Tunji Soroye, Solomon Tat) and Senegal (Assane Sene), if that helps at all.

Did I offend someone or something? I was just saying that I've known an African. He was a pretty cool guy too. I didn't know him too well since he was a few years older than me, but he was always nice. His name was Steven. I think he was from Nigeria, though I could be wrong.
